Playing pool is a fantastic way to unwind and socialise at your club. Whether you’re perfecting your technique or just having a casual game, it’s a great mix of skill and fun. With its laid-back vibe and friendly competition, it’s an ideal activity to connect with others, challenge yourself, and enjoy some quality time over the table.

Quiz nights are a lively and entertaining way to bring people together at your Club. Perfect for testing your knowledge and teamwork, they offer a mix of challenging questions, friendly competition, and plenty of laughs. Whether you’re a trivia enthusiast or just in it for the fun, quiz nights are a great way to socialize, learn something new, and enjoy an evening of excitement with friends.

A service provided by the Club to assist those members who may require help with transport/cost of transport to hospital, specialist appointments, etc. The Support Group also provides funding for a community nurse to visit the Club on the first Saturday of each month. Members are able to discuss health concerns, have blood pressure checked and diabetes tested. All members are encouraged to take advantage of this service.

Indoor bowls is a fun and inclusive activity, offering a relaxed yet competitive way to connect with others. Played on a smooth indoor surface, it’s easy to learn and suitable for all ages and skill levels.

Any member of the Club is welcome to join the Senior Members Adjunct, where you can have a grand time with bus trips away once a month to other clubs at a very reasonable cost. Unless on an away trip, every Wednesday Senior Members enjoy a club day, which includes activities such as a game of pool, indoor bowls or just a chat. Housie is played every week on Wednesday. Once a month another Club is invited to attend.
